I have tried the moving & copying savegames folder method and it didn't work, although I checked the save files and it said they are modified every time I launched the game. The game runs well on High on my PC, I am positive that it is not a problem with my PC reaching minimum requirements or not, given that the Prologue I have played so many times runs smoothly. I presume it's the auto-saving mechanics broken here, so the game is stuck at the end of the chapter (and when I die) trying to save my progress.
